Join us for an unforgettable Liberation Celebration in Homer, AK!
This year, we're excited to continue our tradition of including Juneteenth education, honoring the history and significance of this important day, and highlighting the intersectionality within our community. Our theme for this year is Unity Within Community.
Event Highlights:
Performances: Enjoy captivating performances including drag, live music by Luna and Ursus and DJ Totally Tiff!
Please note, there will not be grass to sit on, so we recommend bringing your own chairs for comfortable seating.
Vendors: Explore a variety of vendors selling unique wares, and visit numerous non-profit booths to learn more about local initiatives and how you can get involved.
Free Food: a tasty treat as you enjoy the festivities!
Guest Speaker: Hear from Alana Greear, who is running as an Independent for House District 6 in the Lower Kenai, as she shares her vision and insights.
